Giggles The Cow Goes Scouting
The rift with Jay Burton could not have come at a better or worse time. He was ejected from the band a mere week before our scheduled show at Millsaps College. We were both elated and very nervous. On the one hand, we were glad to be free of our creative differences with Jay, but at the same time we were very nervous about the almost total lack of preperation as a three piece band. You Know...If You Were To Fry That is a recording of the first band practice without Jay. It occured on March 12, 1994. Both the fear and excitement about the future of the band can be heard in this rough yet splendid recording.
